| As a teacher, you know that language, whether written or spoken, is the key to all learning. To reach your students, you need to remove the barriers that make learning difficult and emphasize your students' strengths. This presentation will take standards-based Basic Skills of Literacy, and match them with a variety of student tasks that can be used to support progress toward written and verbal communication skills. Participants in this session will take with them ready-to-use lesson plans that match literacy standards using PixWriter by the Slater Software Company, as well as other icon-based software. |
